VINCE SZALAY-BOBROVNICZKY was born on January 3, 1972. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in 1996 with a degree in history from the Faculty of Humanities. From 1999 to 2002 he worked as a German rapporteur for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then from 2002 to 2006 he was the consul of the Consulate General of Hungary in Munich. This was followed by another two years at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then as Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Parliamentary Office for Foreign Affairs (2007-2008). In the next two years, he returned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Head of Department (2008-2010), and then became Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Austria (2010-2014). He then worked again as in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Deputy Secretary of State, where he was responsible for European and American bilateral relations. From 2015, he transferred to the Prime Minister\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’s Office and was responsible for EU affairs as Deputy Secretary of State. He was subsequently Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Finland and the Republic of Estonia (2016-2018) and then Deputy Secretary of State for Civil and Social Relations of the Prime Minister\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’s Office (2018-).
