The world after Trump

America chose. It is not known exactly how or if the votes were tallied fairly, but this match has probably already been played. The entire United States and the rest of the world will pay for the decision of roughly half of the electorate. (Not only Poland, which has few allies in the world and may have even fewer now). The scenarios are dark and gray. The hope that the American system, army, secret service, media, will never be completely dismantled seems to be fading away. The composition of the Senate remains questionable - it is possible that the Republicans will retain their blocking majority and that the Democrats' advantage in Congress may also decrease. Will the Supreme Court be kept independent by a large majority of conservatives? The promises look dangerous right now - abandoning the wall on the Mexican border against migrants, letting in Muslims, participating in the madness called climate protection, returning Obamacare to health care, higher taxes on the wealthy, and restrictions on the police and intelligence services. This will certainly be accompanied by an attack on freedom of speech and the right to bear arms... As well as the leftward turn of the worldview, according to a proven Brussels model, which will only increase after the asymptomatic Catholic Joe Biden is replaced by the Jamaican-Indian Kamala Harris. I wonder what else is on his mind besides Marxism? Hinduism and voodoo? All this in the shadow of the rapidly growing China, which showed what it can do in connection with the Wuhan virus. Under normal circumstances, a new Reagan or Trump could bring about this disadvantage, but now? The period after the great pandemic - the political, economic and social challenges of which are difficult to even imagine - requires real leaders (in every country), not Teflon bureaucrats, visionaries or contortionists. What are the chances that the tandem of the old man who constantly commits blunders and the correct but highly ideological prosecutor will be able to handle the challenges? I dread the thought!
