Extract: At the conference, our main topics will be the expansion of the EuCET network in Western Europe, proposals for the future institutional structure of Únius and consultation on the future of the EU.

European Union Civil Cooperation Council (EuCET) video conference

on the evening of November 5 at 6:00 p.m

Due to the coronavirus, EuCET was forced to postpone the conference planned for Warsaw until next year, but now we are holding a video conference on November 5. At the conference, we will deal with issues such as:

– further extension of the EuCET network to Western Europe

- a proposal for the future institutional structure of the Union, which helps to implement the concept of the League of Free Nations

– how to participate in the consultation on the future of the European Union

The following will present at the video conference:

Dr. László Csizmadia, chairman of the board of trustees of the Civil Solidarity Foundation, founding co-chairman of the European Union Civil Cooperation Council (Hungary)

Tomász Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of the Gazeta Polska newspaper, representative of the Gazeta Polska 400 club, founding co-chairman of the European Union Civil Cooperation Council (Poland)

Dr. Henri Malosse, Honorary President of Vocal Europe, former President of the Social and Economic Committee of the European Union (EESC) (France)

Dr. Zoltán Lomnici Jr., constitutional lawyer, CÖF-CÖKA spokesperson (Hungary)

Thomas Habermann, councilor of the Rhön Grabfeld district, member of the EU Council of Regions (Germany)

Augusto Cocchioni UGL (Italian General Workers' Union) International Relations - Hungarian delegate (Italy)

Imre Palkovics, President of the National Association of Workers' Councils (Hungary)

Erik Almqvist, journalist (Sweden)

Izsák Balázs is the president of the Székely National Council

Károly Lóránt is an expert on European affairs at EuCET (Hungary)

The presentations will last about 10-12 minutes, followed by questions and discussion.

As a student, you can also participate in the conference, which will be in English and Hungarian with simultaneous interpretation.
